A run/walk coach that measures your run pace and your walk pace separately.

How do I build a plan?
Open the app and tap Set up my plan. Five short questions and it builds one from where you are now.
Why does it ask for a recent race time?
It is the only way the app can give you real pace targets before you have recorded a run with it. You can skip it and record a few sessions instead.
Why are my targets blank?
The app will not invent a pace. Add a recent race time in the You tab, or record three sessions, and the numbers appear.
Can I start tomorrow's session today?
No. A session belongs to its day. If you want to run on a day the plan left empty, use Add a session.
I did a session somewhere else.
Open that day and tap I did it. It ticks it off without recording a pace.
I missed a week.
The app asks next time you open it. If you say you missed them and the gap was a week or more, it rebuilds the rest of the plan from what you have actually been covering.
Can I move a session to another day?
Yes. Press and hold it in the Plan tab and drag it to any day that week.
My distance does not match my watch.
Phone GPS and a watch rarely agree exactly. If yours is consistently out by more than a few percent, email us what both read.
It kept recording after I finished.
After two minutes without moving the app says so out loud and on screen. It will not pause or stop for you, because a traffic light and a finish line look identical to a phone.
Where do my targets come from?
A starting point, taken from a recent race time or from your first recorded sessions, plus the improvement a training block of that length normally gives. They are not an average of your last two runs.
My targets feel wrong.
Every six weeks the app compares what you have actually been running with what it expected, and asks whether to adjust. You can also change your race time in the You tab at any time.
What does it cost?
Trotato starts with a two week trial. Nothing is charged up front and you can cancel any time inside those two weeks. To keep using it after that is 14.99 a month or 79.99 a year. There is no free version. The trial is so you can run a few times and see your own numbers before you decide.
What do I get?
All of it. Your run pace and your walk pace measured separately, your splits, your history, and a plan built for your race.
How do I cancel?
In your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged.
I already paid and it is asking me again.
Tap Restore a purchase on the subscription screen.
